Tenants: A Look Behind the Scenes

José Costa

You want to use tenants? No problem. Just make the module Multi-tenant. Not so fast. First, you need to create the tenants. But where? Ah-ha! You create them in Service Center. Ok, but now, how do you access the new tenant to create users? #mindblown Join us as we answer those questions, look at the data model behind the Multi-tenant mechanism, and explore different ways a new Tenant can be created.

Everything You Wanted to Know About Template Screens and Never Dared to Ask

Jorge Martins & José Costa

Template screens can be a powerful tool, but when you want to do something different from what is built-in, where do you begin? From deciding what screens to build up, to the actual process of publishing them to the forge, we will cover all of your deepest questions. No one will ever know you didn’t know!

October 3, 2019 – 2:40PM (Evergreen B)

Templates: Where Should Its Elements Be? In the Template or on Another Module?

José Costa

Who doesn’t love the time-saving nature of templates? But building a useful one requires some thought. Mostly, it’s just following a recipe, but there are a few things to consider such as a theme’s module, and screen applicability. In this session, we will address these points and others regarding the template customization.

“The E-Learning Lead Ramp Up training on the OutSystems Platform offered by ITUp is the best of two worlds: we still have the live experience, being able to exchange ideas and working with other trainees, but we can also work on the offline assignments at our own pace. The program is just as demanding as if we were in a classroom. However, I was still able to manage my projects without affecting the productivity of the team.”

Célia Alves, Delivery Manager @ OSQUAY
